Philips Warranty terms

1. What warranty terms provide Philips for its products?

All underwritten warranty conditions operate in connection with the legislation of the Russian Federation and do not extent to using for commercial purposes or on enterprises.

In connection with the p.1 Art. Of the Federal Law «Protection of the consumer rights» Philips provides 12 months Warranty terms from the moment product has been bought by the consumer. In connection with the p. 3 Art 19 of the respected Law, on different parts of the products warranty terms are as follows:

GSM phones - 12 months from the date of purchase, but within 24 months from the date of manufacture
Power supplies - 6 months from the date of purchase, but within 24 months from the date of manufacture
Batteries - 6 months fron the date of purchase, but within 24 months from the date of manufacture
GSM Accesoires - 6 months fron the date of purchase, but within 24 months from the date of manufacture

In connection with the p.1 Art. Of the Federal Law «Protection of the consumer rights» Philips provides 36 months from the date of manufacture warranty terms for its products, with an exception for batteries, power supplies, accesoires for mobile phones. For batteries, power supplies, acsessoires for mobile phones in accordance with the respected Federal Law Philips provides 12 months from the date of manufacture warranty terms.

2. What documents are needed to gain necessary service treatment?

Warranty terms are calculated from the moment of purchase and means proving the purchase. If the consumer cannot prove the fact of purchase by providing necessary paperwork: (warranty coupon, cash voucher) the terms of warranty is calculated since the date of manufacture.

3. Does the repair prolongues Philips warranty terms?

The warranty terms prolong on the period when the unit was in repair.

4. On what aspects the Philips warranty does not obligate its terms?

Warranty is not provided in the following cases:

If the fault was being caused by negligent usage, due to misuse of the product, in comply with the user manual and user guidebook, as well due to overheating or freezing, humidity or dust exhausted, Discrepancies to State standards of parametres of feeding, telecommunication and cable networks, liquid or insects or extra subjects penetration damaged;
If the production breech was a consequence of unapproved testing of production or attempts of modification of its design or its software, including repair or maintenance service in unauthorized by Philips company
If the fault occurs due to unsatisfactory work of a cellular network, owing to insufficient capacity of a network and capacity of a radio signal, production operation on border or out of a network operative range, not limited to landscape features such as district and building construction.
If the fault is caused due to its application together with the additional equipment (accessories) or phone which differ from Philips manufacture or recommended by Philips Philips does not bear responsibility for quality of the additional equipment (accessories) made by the third parties, for quality of its mutual operation with such equipment, and also for quality of performance of Philips products with the phones of the other manufacturers.

5. How will I know my Philips is in warranty or not?
